GP2 Sound Problems

Hello Race-Fans,

Just recently I've a new laptop with Windows NT as OS. I've installed
GP2 on it, but I've a problem with setting up the SoundCard. It's an
SoundBlaster Pro combatible soundcard (for in a laptop) with the
following settings:
WSS                 530h
SBPro               220h
Interrupt level    5
DMA Channel Playback     1
DMA Channel Record        0

I've selected the autodetect option in GP2, but that doesn't work. After
that I've tried several soundcards with different settings and nothing
seems to work. What do I have to do to make it work?

Greetings,

It's a waste of time, probably... NT isn't designed to run games. It prohibits
direct access to hardware and that's why DOS games don't like it (and the other
way round)

I CRASHED NT by trying to run GP2....Hardware reset was the only solution.. :-)

Had problems with NT so I created a good old DOS partition and installed
GP2 on it.  Works fine on a Toshiba laptop.
