"trust the government?? what are you, some kind of moron?"
Mine is I/O ??, IRQ 7, DMA 3,7. It seemed wierd but it actually worked.
For pure Dos mode you have to run the SB!Live Dos drivers or it certainly will
not work. Check out http://www.sblive.com or your installation disk for Dos
driver instructions.
Aside: A P3/550 runs GP2 very well in 640x480 mode (finally) Just turn sky
off -- the mirrors are maxed :-D
Email me from my webpage(s) if you need specific information.
Hope this helps,
Jason.

But the problem's still there, I only have the T2 connected, in slot 1
and I've tried it with and without the adapter, with only one joystick port
enabled at a time, (because there's two showing in the system properties
dialog box, (one in the Creative Miscellaneous Devices, wich is called
Creative gameport Joystick)(and the other one's in the Sounds, Video and game
controllers called Gameport Joystick) So I've tried with both enabled (they
do not show any conflicts in their respective dialog boxes. Or with only one
at a time (I've tried each combination!) No luck, zilch, nada....
So back to square one!
Again thanks for the help
John
>Jason.
Even if there was no conflict showing in the dialog boxes of the joysticks in
the system properties. That was it.
I removed the Gameport Joystick driver completely, only keeping the Creative
Gameport Joystick, rebooted and.... voila...
