Toca sound problem, please help.

Hello peoples of the world.  I just got the 3do american version of Toca
here in the states (Louisiana to be exact) and I get no sound when I
lift off the gas (no idle, no downshift sounds, etc.). The sound is fine
when I am on the gas.  The demo worked fine too, and I am DX certified
on everything (Voodoo2, AWE64).  Anybody else have this problem?  Thanks
for any help.

Yes I have the same problem but, I just think it's the way the game was
designed :( It is kinda weird.
