The ring is the only place I still need to use autoshift, but that should
change soon ... I hope :-)

Well here's the latest on my ring sans autoshift mission.  First off let me
just say that sh*t this is hard!!!!  I think I had less trouble learning the
ring the first time ;-)  But after a week of seemingly endless spinning, I
finally managed to complete a timed lap with only a minor off track excursion.
It was a terribly sloppy lap, but I still managed to shave 2 seconds off
my PB dropping it to 8:17.18 !!  I wonder how better I'll do with an entirely
clean lap? :-)

See? Ofcourse it will take some practice, but a 8:17 is great (verrrry
close to my pb) so with a little more practice I'm sure you'll beat
me..
Oh crap, why do I allways have to give people tips that work? :)

Congrats Leo, but just checking... are you definitely driving a *car*, not
flying round it in a helicopter or something? :0)

You've just dropped inside the "107% of the WR" mark now too!

Well here's the answer to my 'clean lap' question so far:  8:11.73 !!!!  I
didn't doubt that my time would improve, but I never imagined by this much!!

BTW, you're gonna really regret giving me that tip cuz I now sit directly
behind you in terms of overall gplrank.  Sorry to do this to ya, but you've
now become my newest target :-)
