Help with GP2

Can someone please help me??  I have a registered version of GP2.
Recently I added a number of ad modfs, sound mods, and imported a 97 car
set using GP2edit.  All of a sudden, I cannot control any car.  When  start
the game, no matter what options I choose (type of race, practice, quick
race, etc.), all of the cars control themselves through the computer.  I
cannot influence any car.  t's as if there is only a demo running.  I have
no idea what to do to fix this, other than re-installing the game, which I
would rather not do, since I've done so much work putting in all of the
beautiful add-ins.  (all of them well known ones from the net)
        Can someone please help me?
        Thank you.

Hate to ask the obvious, but did you double check in "Select
Driver/Team" that a driver was, in fact, selected.  Remember, it's
possible to not have a driver selected for yourself.  The game will then
be running in demo mode.

Have you tried going into the "Driver Selection" menu and selecting a
driver?

The only thing I can think of is that you don't have a car/team selected.
It's been a while since I've played it, but go to the drivers screen, and
make sure that at least one driver is selected.  You can pick any driver,
any team, etc.  If none are selected, all you can do is watch.

I think you may like to check that you have still got a driver selected
in select driver/team...Just a thought, but the GP2edit can sometimes
remove the above...

Good racing...Andy....
