did so yesterday and I am not to thrilled with it, the texture problems are
back, even if I limit the texture memory - anyone else tried it and figured

I think the 3dfx info makes it plain enough these updated drivers are a quick hack for
Q3. FWIW, the voodoo2 tweaked drivers work fine. Default gamma's dropped for me,
but everything else is fine. It doesn't surprise me that the V3 drivers are still problematic,
it's still in the teething trouble zone even without this quick Q3 fix muddying the water.
