N2 patch-Fixes .stn (results files)?

So...the one question that I haven't seen answered, that would help
NASS 97, and the other online series is, does the patch fix the
Results file problem, that made it so Nass 97 couldn't use N2?  What
is that problem exactly anyway, I never understood.

Thanks for any information...

That's the question all offline leagues are asking.  They are testing it with
their software right now.  It does put everything into one file like N1 did
and it gives the laps led like N1, but the one problem I have found is that
it screws up the qual times and who earns them.  Example:  If you qual 1st
and finish 5th in the race, whoever wins the race has your qual speed
beside their name and the qual speed by your name is from whoever qualed 5th.
The speeds don't go with you where ever you finish.  Thats one problem that may
have to be fixed before offline leagues start using N2 with their software.

I wrote a simple app to combine the 3 *.stn files into 1 text file.
This was before the patch.

It lets you select the 3 files you saved(Qual, Race, and the stats
part) then combines them into one text file using your first initial,
last initial, track abbrev. and car #.  For example, Terry Labonte at
Dega, would select his 3 files, and it would combine them into 1 text
file named TL5Tal.txt.  This file is written to your nascar2
directory, and deleted when you run your next dega race.

I also added a feature to copy the text file to your clipboard, so you
can simply paste it into the body of an email, and send your results
in.

I wrote it for the IGN league, to make sending in results easier.

unzip it to your nascar2 directory.

Its free, so use it if you want.

Those using the patch, can use the patched version :-) at
