Here's the text of an Email to Orchid:
The games you currently have are probably not ported to use the Voodoo
chip yet..I would contact the software manufacture when upgrades will
be
availible..
here some guidelines:
Windows Direct 3D Drivers
*Windows 95 3D programs use Microsoft's Direct X Direct 3D API Full
Screen drivers.
*If a software program has Direct X Direct 3D API driver support it
should work with the Righteous 3D.
DOS Glide Drivers
*DOS 3D programs that have Glide support should work with the
Righteous
3D card.
*Support for Glide software is built into the Righteous 3D.
*Glide for the Righteous 3D is like VESA to 2D or 2D/3D video cards.
*Not all DOS programs will run successfully under Windows 95. (Check
with the software manufacturer).
*All 3D programs used with the Righteous 3D board will be played in a
full DOS screen. The Microsoft DirectX 3D v.II drivers will not allow
a
3D card to play in a Window.
hope this helps
Thank you for your continued interest in Orchid Technology.
In my opinion, we're all SOL with racing and Voodoo....
