N2: ? N2HQ Problem...???

by Jimmy and Lis » Mon, 10 Mar 1997 04:00:00

I am hving problems with N2HQ.  When I go into "Edit Lists", I am
trying to put certain cars in my 1997 saeson list.  I "Save As..."
1997.lst.  When I look at the list again, it has like "W97#2 W97#3.car"
on the same line.  Then when I go into the game (through DOS), it says
it can't read the "W97#3.car" file.  I go into Windows Explorer (Win95),
and change the name back to "W97#3.car".  Then back to N2HQ, load the #2
(or #3 or whoever I'm having problems with), and the next time it comes
up as "W97#3.car W97#4.car" on the same line.  Same problem back in the
game, except now it can't read the #4 car file.
HOWEVER, when I go into driver info, ALL my cars are there, regardless
of which car is "doubled up".

Any guesses as to what may be the problem...???

You need to pick up a newer version of N2HQ. If you go to the Late Night
site, there's a link directly to Dane's website where you'll find the
latest version.

I had the exact same problem when I was using an earlier release.  I
downloaded version 1.5.9 and the problem went away.
