As far as I can tell, this update is a zip extraction only, no install
wizard. The update is only a self extracting zip file which unzips the
files into the directory you specify. And if you specfiy your GPL folder
correctly, you should be prompted to overwrite the existing files.

This means you don't have to upgrade anything at all before unzipping the
patch. Because there isn't any check on what version you already have.

When I went from 1.0 to 1.1, the pitboard at the Ring was changed to the
straight behind the pit. When I went to 1.2 I loaded it over a fresh install
of 1.0 and the pitboard remained on the pit straight. This implies that not
all changes in 1.1 are implimented in 1.2 and maybe you need to install 1.2
over 1.1. Anybody know for sure ? Randy ?

Except for the US version. Probably because this is a noCD version.
Seems strange for Papyrus to just do a zip to the right location.
Perhaps still a leak?

So, hmm, now where should I tweak a byte to get 1.2.0.1 to work
without the CD. Don't worry, I have the game, just hate to have to
insert it everytime.
