Sylvester Stallone's much touted racing film is going ahead in conjunction
with the CART Champ Car series as its backdrop.
Stallone, who has spent more than two years visiting Grands Prix for
research, made the announcement at CART's pre season testing at Homestead.
"I apologise to fans of Formula 1," said the former Rocky actor, "but there
is a certain individual there who runs the sport that has his own agenda.
"F1 is very formal, and it's very hard to get to know people. Here in CART
it is much more open and that will be reflected in the film. " [/qoute]
I guess the middle part says it all... dosn't it :-)
Bernie.... go suck a brick!
