I am thinking about buying a TSW wheel and was wondering if are any
owners/avid users out there that can offer any advice.

It's the best.  Worth every penny.  You could spend a little less money and
get a wheel that might last a few months or spend more, get MUCH better
quality and have a product that should last forever.

Best purchase you will ever make.

It's as simple as sending email saying I would like to purchase a TSW Deluxe.
Followed by a check.

My advise is........go for the TSW!  You won't be sorry you
spent the extra money.  In fact, I wish I had bought it first
off, instead of blowing $130 on another wheel first.

Get the TSW. Last wheel you'll ever buy. Then go to Radio Shack, buy
some Linear Taper 100k ohm potentiometers (cat no. 271-092), a can of
Tuner Control Lubricant (Cat No. 64-4315), and you are SET. I have
abused this wheel (probably using more than the one in my car), and it's
held up really well, needing only the occasional pot replacement or a
spray of the tuner control. Service is great, too. Visit their site at
http://zeus.ia.net/~thomas/

Just announced - a full, lifetime warranty for ALL parts of the TSW,
including all electronics. And no, I don't work for either Thomas
Enterprises OR Radio Shack!

Good Luck,

Tom C.

After owning a Thrustmaster for over a year, I purchased a TSW and I
am very pleased with it. The build quality is top notch and is
constructed in such a way as to be easily modified. The support is
excellent. I had a problem with a pot and it was quickly replaced. In
fact, they have changed pot suppliers and the new ones are supposed to
be vastly improved.

I bought my TSW about six months ago. The first one I received was
extremely *stiff*. Since I'd never driven with one before, I really
didn't know if it was abnormal or not. I wrote Trevor Thomas and he
assured me that it was NOT normal. Trev immediately sent me another
steering unit and asked me to keep the first one until the replacement
arrived so that I would not have to do without. He corresponded with me
nearly on a daily basis until the situation was resolved. Of course the
second one was perfect... I guess the first one was damaged in shipping
or something.

The bottom line is that not only is it a quality piece of equipment,
but the service is top-notch as well.

The TSW is built like a tank and drives like a Ferrari!

I agree.  My experience was similar regarding my pot
replacement and upgrade to F1 paddle shifters.
Trevor is at the front line with every one of his
units, and if he can't be, he makes sure someone is.
He appreciates the needs of sim racers (it's one of
hobbies), particularly league racers who are waiting
for their equipment when they could be preparing for
the next race.
Two more points.  I can't count on one hand (finger?)
companies that 1. offer a lifetime guarantee on all parts
and 2. are willing to share with you all the***details
of their manufacturing process!

If you haven't checked their web site its at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~thomas/

I guess you'll just have to believe me that this is not spam
and I'm not affiliated with Thomas Enterprises in any way.
