NFSPU-Resolution?

by Paul Jage » Wed, 05 Jul 2000 04:00:00

I have just bought Need For Speed Porsche but find it will only play at a
max of 800x600 res. I have a Voodoo 2 x 2 (sli) on a P2 450 machine, and can
play all other games in 1024 res. I have upto date drivers and DX7a.
Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately, I think that's the max that you can go.  I have exactly the same
system, and the situation is exactly the same.....

This problem was resolved a few months ago when PU was released.

You need to run the 3D setup program and choose Glide - not DX7.

I remember I had to hack the 3dsetup.ini file and force it
to use the voodoo.dll
