NFSPU: Lost my player

Hmm, I had finished evolution last Sunday, and ..coincidence ? If I
restart the game and pick my player, the game quits back to the
desktop. The other players work fine... Rats, I lost my collection of
cars, money,all the tracks, and I have to restart the factory driver
mode from scratch (twist my arm) !!! Still, anyone else had this
happen ?

Is there a way to play with the saved files, hack pieces of them, see
what bits are corrupted ? A way to bypass this and get my tracks ans
cars back ?  Guess not but I thought if anyone knew it's be on this
forum... ;-)
