I LOVED that one (and hated it at the same time)! The key is to be
smooth, but go all "NASCAR" on the cops (i.e., don't be afraid to rub
fenders with them, and press on, regardless!).
As for saving the game, COPY the entire "SaveData" folder from the
NFSPU directory to some other location on your hard drive, and when you
want to return to that mission after you've completed the others, just
re-copy everything back. I've been doing this with several missions,
re-naming the folder for each mission, so I can pick-and-choose which
one to re-run later. Haven't checked to see if this will work, mind
you, but it should based on the file date stamps.
