Will it work?
           Since the p166 works on a 66hz motherboard,will the pc100
memory have any problem?
I know that some good 66hz sdram work on the new 100hz
motherboards(440bx chipset)with no problems, but will the contrary cause
any harm to my system ?

If your board truely supports SDRAM than you will have no problem with the
pc100 memory,  but you will gain nothing with the memory over ordinary SDRAM
memory on your particular system until you update to the BX board,  (unless
you are overclocking.)
