They have some articles about the realities of MEmory and lots of other good
stuff, too.
It is worth noting that the speed of your RAM doesn't affect the speed of
your computer, really. For instance, putting 60ns RAM in where you have
70ns RAM now is not going to speed up your computer. Either the RAM can
keep up or it can't. The speed of what's being fed into it (and sucked out
of it) doesn't change based on the memory installed. Better/faster memory
might allow you to tweak you BIOS settings a little higher though.
A lot of memory's function is apparently a quality issue; manufacturing
tolerances and the like. Crappy memory will often not allow you to push it,
where the 'good' stuff is more likely to.

Does that mean that all PII 350 and above have to use PC 100? Does my HP
Pavilion PII 350 come standard with PC 100 SDRAM? How can I find out if it is
or not? Thanks.

All the PC100 I have (all two of 'em) have a sticker on them that says
"PC100". But that's an easy sticker to put on anything...
Maybe someone else can give you chip #'s to match. But if it is working at
100, what's the problem?
Good luck! The 256M Micron PC100 SDRAm I bought last month was priced
at almost $800US. But it is a 7ns chip also...woohoo?
