I have the logitech momo force wheel (the first red version), and I
think there may be some defects with it. The problem is when driving
with the wheel in center position it gives away a very high
rattling/clattering noise. There is some slack on the
steelwire/mechanism, I guess this could be the reason. Though this
very high rattling sound only occures with the steering wheel when in
approximately center position. This is a very annoying thing,
especially when you play with a normal soundlevel on the speakers.
It's been a while since I used the wheel the last time, but I think I
remember that this was not a problem in the beginning when the
steering wheel was new. Also the shaking/forcefeed-back effect is also
much stronger when the wheel is centered. (I play mostly Need for
speed 4 + 5). I'm not sure if these things really are defects or not,
so some help or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
