Yeah, make sure you do the whole THREE laps. The warm-up, and then
you have to do TWO qualifying laps. It takes your best time of the 2
as your qual. time. I don't know why it does this. It doesn't do it
on any of the other tracks though. This one had me going for a while!

the race weekend. Renter the track choosing saved race. This should put you

Talledega is a SuperSpeedway, hence you have to do two qualifying laps,
just as the real drivers have to.

Of course, if you lift off the throttle when you see the white flag instead
of the chequered flag, qualifying isn't your biggest problem.

Try running the second qualifying lap...Remember it's a super speedway.

Rich,

Dega has 3 laps for qualifying. 1 warm up followed by a white flag lap then a checkeerd one.

The reason for two qualifying laps at Talladega, I think, is because the game is trying to
simulate restrictor plate racing. With a restrictor plate, it takes 2 laps to get up to speed.
This is also why drafting is critical at Talladega.
