I am working on improving the AI at Talladega.  However, it seems that
there is no way to avoid bumping the RELS line in the track.txt file.
This however really plays havoc with the BLAP time.  So to get an idea
on a proper fastest qualifying time, what are your best qualifying times
at Dega?

Hello Michael,
At 70 degrees my qual times at dega are in the low 195s. Right now I can
usually qual around 5-9 position. To bad I can usually be leading after
acouple laps. Haven't up the rels yet. I hope this helps

The one gripe I have with the AI is that after a 100% length race
there are only 4-6 cars on the lead lap.  I guess I could go bump up
the numbers for every driver, but what a pain.  Hope to see you
succeed.

That's weak?  I think you need to have your car taken in for a good
NASCAR inspection.  I was happy when I got 49.157 seconds (194.804 mph).

Now you know why I was asking for input from "real" drivers.

Did that time come from a 70 degree day or a 40 degree day?

What temp is that at?  If it is at 70deg, then you won't see me at
Dega very often in the NRO!

Best "practise" lap speed I have managed is 195.001 and my
qual is low 194s so ya doin fine by me.

Guess I should've read your post more carefully....you wanted fastest
Qualifying times. I just grabbed this figure from N2HQ...which is my
fastest lap speed (during a race, most likely in draft)..

My fastest Qual at Dega: 70 degrees, no wind, constant weather:

193.532

Hope that clears matters some. And yes, I know it's weak. :-)
