Does anyone else gave this problem-  everytime I qualify at Talladega I'm
always 39th, no matter what speed I run!  I have the 1.1 patch installed.

Try accellerating. :)
Seriously though, I don't know what your problem is as I have sat
on the pole several times. You'll need to do at least 192 to get on
the pole. I have pole speeds in the 194+ range and I'm sure that
there are many with speed better than mine.
These were all *with* the restrictor plate.

In Talladega, unlike the other tracks, the qualifying is two laps instead
of one. The best of the two lap counts. So, just keep going.
