I have the original Papy indy car II is there any way that I can upgrade
for free to the rendition version of it????  Thanks!!!

No, but you can get it for 20 bucks.  Papyrus CART Racing is $30 with a
$10 rebate and includes the Rendition version.  Well worth it.  

See the tips on my site for installing it, though; the default installer
is awful.  Then folow the links on my site to The Sim Project and other
sites for tweaks, including beautiful 3D enhancements for the tracks
Papy didn't enhance for Rendition, as well as up-to-date carsets,
improved AI and an excellent sound patch.

Oops.  Seems I'm wrong wrong about not being able to get the Rendition
version of ICR2/CART Racing for free.  Someone sent me this:

   "This is untrue.  You can upgrade for free to the rendition
   version, I suggest you check out sierras web site at
   http:\\www.sierra.com .  In their downloads section, you can
   get the latest patch for ICR2 that is the renditions version."

I haven't checked this patch out.  If anyone else has tried this, you
might post here how it worked for you.

you can upgrade to ICR2 rend but you wont get all of the rendition graphics
files. it is definitely worth the $$ to buy the rend version
