Couldn't someone just lie about their time?

I'm 100% sure that all the top 30 drivers on the ring say playing it
feels like they put there *** in the hole in the cd (yes they all have
small peeeep that's why they are so fast they don't have to carry a 16
pound peeeep)and then get an ***.

I'm not happy with my ring time, but 1:27.65 at monza with a home brew
setup. Some other tracks i've broke even on the real life times. And i
think that F12k is damn fine program. As for some posts about braking,
Ervine said he doesn't brake until 45 meters at the first turn an
Interlagos. I have to start well before the 50. Implying that the game
does have a considerable amount of realism...

Although replying entails blowing one's own horn on GPL ability, yes, I like
F1 2000. Room for improvement in many areas, but it's basically sound IMO. I
found it pretty challenging as well. For the moment I'm waiting on my
official copy, but once I get it I'll go into some more detail.

Bruce,

Sounds like the aliens finally wrote back!!!  A thoroughly garbled
transmission, though . . .

8:15 or so.  I've never put a lot of effort into
that track, and my times at others tracks are more
competitive.  But my real talent in GPL is the
ability to stick my nose about 3 feet from someone's
gearbox, and keep it there, without hitting them.
They usually crash on their own after a few minutes
from the pressure :)  Alison and Allan Scott are
about the only two who can take it (though I can't
keep up with Allan anymore).

F1 2000 is a good sim that will only get better.
I hope ISI will learn a bit from this experience :)
I know they are paying attention, and want to
make the best simulations they can!
