I get a note saying it cannot start, and did I install it on the HD?
Any help on how to get this going?

Don't forget to select "use folder names", Dave.

or - if like me you used folder names but don't have
a c: on your system (I have F:, G: and H:), use windows
sharing to mount the lfs directory AS c: and run it
from there.
The F: G: H: thing was entirely caused by an accident
with an early version of netware, an R200 4.11 limited
slip differential and some obscure linux partitioning
software (check your universal joints!).
