Bit of help req'd with TNT2 and GPL

OK people just after a bit of advice in connection with the "NVIDIA RIVA
TNT2 model 64" graphics card on my new pc. I am using the OpenGL patch
and am very happy with the performance so far with regard to frame
rates. The mirrors are a bit of a problem though... with the various
settings in the core.ini file I can get them so that they are no longer
flashing but is there any way to get rid of the band that seems to run
across them? Is this what everyone else with this type of card see's as
well? It's no longer a distraction the way the flashing mirrors were
but it doesn't help to judge the cars behind you too much.

The other thing I have noticed is that the racing line dosen't seem to
be quite as clear to me as it as on my Voodoo Banshee, what setting
should I change to make this a bit clearer. As an example when coming
up to the Parabolica I was used to being able to see the dark line on
the track from a fair way back but now I am almost on it before it is
visible. With use I am sure I will get usde to it but iof there is
something I can change in the colour settings or something it would be
handy to know.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I didn't have any option with regard to this card but I know that for
GPL a Voodoo card would have been better, but other than the mirrors I
am very happy with it. However, if I did get another card which would
be my best bet?? Would it replace the TNT2 or could I choose between
them?

Cheers
