Can I use F1RS?

by Jon Petersso » Wed, 17 Dec 1997 04:00:00

I am going to buy F1RS this week. I'm just curious as to whether I need to
get a new computer to play it.

I have a P133 with 64MB EDO and an S3 Virge3D. Naturally, I'll get a 3Dfx
card but will it be enough? I want decent detail and fps.

Is Orchid Righteous 3D a good 3Dfx card to get, or should I look elsewhere?

my computer is a p120 with 32Mb EDO, a Matrox Mystique old version and a
Miro 3dfx, and the game is ok with a good fps at full detail. Only at the
start of the race and for the first lap the fps is not good enought, but i
think 64mb of RAM can adjust this problem.
bye
