Refresh rate in GP2 with Voodoo 3

GP2 (running under DOS of course) works perfectly with my Voodoo 3 but
always runs at the default monitor refresh rate of 60Hz, which is far too
flickery for me.  In windows my card/monitor combination can handle 120Hz at
640x480 but I can't figure out how you set the refresh rate in DOS.

On my old PC I had a S3 video card and a small DOS program (s3refresh) with
which you could set the refresh rate before going into GP2.  Is there a
similar program for Voodoo 3?

I just made a DOS boot disk and start with that each time I want some GP2.
Seems to work perfectly.  Could your sound card be the problem?  I have a
Videologic Sonic Vortex 2 which seems to have good DOS drivers, compatible
with GP2 but strangely not compatible with the GP2 sound card test!.
