Hi David!

That sounds good, IMHO my SB16 was called "SB 16 value" (6 years ago) and is a ISA card...
I`m not shure if the "value" is with midi port or not...
Is yours the same?

Thanks!

Well relax, I have Vibra16 (SB16 compatible) ;P

or...is there reason why I loose calibration every time to time? better
soundcard could help...

Loosing calibration happens only when I really push it hard, not in "normal"
driving(is there one?), so don't be too afraid of that issue ;)

Lutz,

I don't recall mine being called an "SB 16 value", but it is definitely an
ISA card and I've had it for at least four years.  I've had a Sidewinder FF
joystick on it for about 2 years and now the wheel.  Both work fine.

I bought an  SB16 in 1993 that had MIDI and a gameport.  It was ISA (of
course.)  It was the 'ASP' version, which added an extra sound processor for
text-voice and better wav compression or some such thing.  I got a cheaper
version (Must have been an SB16 Value) for my Mother and hers did MIDI also.
I don't think any of the SB16 cards didn't do MIDI so you should be OK with
a FF joystick or wheel.
