MS FF Wheel Out Any comments?

The local EB received 2 of the new FF wheels from MS today.  I had
them put one on hold till Wed.  (Double discount day in my area)
However, the price tag is a bit steep.  $199.   They are suppose to
get Thrustmaster's FF wheel in by the end of the month, and it will
sell for $169.    (a bit more reasonable)
So,  has anyone picked up the MS wheel yet, or has done a late beta
test on it.  Any reviews that compare the MS, and the TM wheels?

Thanks,
Andy

It was reported to have the ability to switch to both seperate and single.
Also, software to let you save different users and configurations.

Not sure.  I only spent a few minutes looking at the box.  It doesn't
have a shifter though, and that sort of bugs me.  (although it has 6
buttons)  2 of those buttons might be hard to reach though.
The TM wheel has a shifter, and also has 4 buttons.
What I'll probably do, is wait till EB has them both in stock, and try
each for a few days, and make a decision that way.

What really appeals to me is the digital/optical position-reading
technology they use in their joysticks as well ... goodbye Calibration

It has seperate axis for brake/gas or single if you want it. The shifters
are paddle shifters like a F1 wheel.

Another one with a shifter is the Saitek R4. I'll be checking this
one...
