I just started with GP2 and have some questions that I can't seem to
find answers for in the manual (so no RTFM's please)
During a non championship race, I had a couple of 'shunts' and a couple
of 'punts' (can I help it if the guys engine blows right in front of me
and he almost stops going into a chicane ??) anyway, in the last 2 laps
I seemed to have a problem with the car (all realisms on) I don't know
if a front wheel was locking, or skidding, or maybe I just wore the
tires out but just driving straight I would get these little flicks to
one side and it sounded like a tire skidding a bit (very faint sound).
The damage display didn't show anything, and I wasn't called into the
pit, but I had to slow so much that I almost lost my lead. Any ideas?
At the end of the race, is there any way to inspect the vehicle (like
during practice/car setup) ? I would like to know what I did to the
wheels,plank,etc during the race.
After I crossed the finish line, and before 'race over', I hit ESC and
saved the GAME. I wanted to save a hot lap or two, but found that I
couldn't. Do I have to hit ESC during the race and 'save hot laps' then?
In car setup for a bumpy track the ride height trace are pretty jagged,
should I be trying to smooth them out by going to softer springs, or are
they jagged simply because the 'sensors' on the car are picking up the
bumps in the track.
Finally, in the little car damge indicator on the lower right panel,
does the line running down the center of the car come on when the plank
is rubbing??
Thanks
