Looking for a little help. Just bought the Force Feedback wheel from
Microsoft. When I got home and took the stuff out, there wasn't a power
pack with it. Software Etc. said they didn't have anymore in the store
but they would order a power pack but with Christmas and all it might
take a month to get. My question is, if anyone has the Force Feedback
joystick and the wheel, could you look and see if the power packs are
the same. I have the FF joystick so I have a power pack I could use if
they are the same. Thank you.

I've got both the joystick and a wheel, and as far as I can see the
powerpacks are the same.

Funny, I have purchased from Software Etc. here in CT exactly two
times in the past 5 years. First time was a Thrustmaster T2 Wheel
several years ago. Got the box home, PEDALS WERE MISSING!! Ok, brought
them back, they said they were the only set and I took my money and
ran (got the T2 from Chips and Bits)... was walking in the mall a
month or so ago, found myself in front of Software Etc., went in. Saw
a box (can't remember what game) in the new releases section. Had a
coupon taped to it which made the game's final cost (after rebate)
$10.00.. Bought it, got it home, opened (was shrink wrapped) and found
the CD case open, CD rolling around, KB Chart missing, and the
registration (temporary for the rebate) gone! Back it went, refund,
adios... I will NEVER buy anything from Software Etc...

Bring it back and find a RELIABLE source of computer stuff...

Okay, I'm confused. What the hell is the power pack?  Are you guys
referring to the a/c adapter?
