I tried to get into the server for the better part of an hour. And I
kept getting a message saying "you aren't qualified" to join this
server. As there was a race going on at the time I thought that is what
was meant by that message. Then as I was about to leave, I notice my
rankings. They have all been reset to zero. I know I have not played in
almost a year, no computers in the cancer ward, something about
interfering with their equipment or something, but I didn't think my
ranks would be wiped. My account is the same one I have used since N4,
possibly N3, not sure as I am old. But this really sucks.
Now I have a question. Does my rank for other series transfer to the
trucks? So if I have a 35 LPI in cup, will that transfer to the trucks
and busch?
Thank,
Brit

Too bad you couldn;t get in - we sure can use the extra driver.
(fast_T couldnt get in either -> Larry's gonna sort that)

We don't have any restrictions but I think you must have an LPI of
at least 1. AFAIK there's no difference between cup and cts
ratings.

Hope you get thinks sorted out so you can join us on newyears day.
We agreed yesterday we'd run Texas then and start the following
week with GTP, if it is released of course.

Dave will announce the tracks :) (Dave, maybe you can name the
first 3 already ... )

No wheel and too sick (38.5 centigrade fever) to compete... sorry.

Jan.

I thought we run IRP on New Years, then Texas the following week.

Oops yeah - forgot you weren't on TS (why is that btw?)
We decided so because the turnout for the truck races is
disappointingly low and we hope to get some more drivers for the
roadcourses.

I really don't know what tracks to schedule because I don't know what tracks
and setups will be released with the mod. Shouldn't we schedule tracks (at
least the first one) that the mod will contain a setup for so even if we go
with open setups, at least the drivers will have a base to work with?

The following would be the tracks I'd have at the top of the list right
now, but maybe the mod will contain some nice ones too. Kyalami, Road
Atlanta, Mosport, Riverside PWF, LeMans, Suzuka, Silverstone, Daytona RC.

I posted a question at the GTP forum at RSC asking what tracks/setups were
being released with the mod, but never got an answer before the forums went
down last week. The only ones I know of for sure are Suzuka and Spa, but I
remember reading awhile back that there are others. Only six more days. :-)

Since the truck races have had a low turnout, we discussed on TS dropping
IRP, moving Texas up a week, and then starting the GTP races as long as the
GTP mod is released as scheduled on Christmas day. We forget you aren't on
TS sometimes. :-) Sorry about that James.

So what is this GTP, is it a mod for N2003?

The cars are supposed to be lighter, faster, have more downforce, and handle
better than the TPTCC cars. Should be a lot of fun. :-) Ginger has been beta
testing the mod for awhile now.

Won't break my heart if we are :)
