Just wanted to say that the practice and main race were two of the most
enjoyable road course races I've ever been in. The whole group did well IMO.
Racing Ginger around the excellent Riverside PWF track was just fantastic.
75 great laps.

The TPTCC version of the track, IMHO, is a better track.  Especially since
that's what I (and a few others I take it) practiced all week :)

The race announcement was something like "TPTCC Riverside PWF".  Frankly, I
didn't catch the one acronym used, PWF.

I think it would have gone better if it said "TPTCC Mod using the Project
Wildfire version of Riverside".

Just something to think about the next time :)

With all the mods, tracks and other stuff available these days (with more to
come for sure) we need to start being descriptive with what we are doing.

Just go here http://www.schuerkamp.de/zope/rascar/ and read the rules/signup
info, and then submit your Sierra ID, cars/trucks and other info on the
forum. The races are on Saturday. We have a practice race at 3pm est., and
then at 4pm est we begin a half hour practice session before the main race.

Thanks Dave. So this is mainly Nascar stuff with the odd TA event? I
don't see any upcoming events for TA. Is it mainly handled from in here? ie
notification of upcoming events and results?

Yes. The majority of the RASCAR drivers wanted to keep to the NASCAR
schedule. I would of liked more of a mix of TPTCC and NASCAR.

There will be another TPTCC race in a few weeks (May 8th). Not sure what the
track will be yet. The NASCAR schedule says that they visit Lowes on May
22nd and 29th, so I doubt the group will want to race the same NASCAR track
two weeks in a row. Might be a road course race on one of those weekends.

We run practice races at 3pm est before our main race begins, but maybe
we'll occasionally use that time to have a TPTCC race instead. I think a lot
of guys are enjoying those practice races though.

Whatever we decide, I'll make sure to announce it here as well as at the
forum.

We use an invite list, so if you want to join any of these races, I'll
eventually need an ID .

During the NASCAR off season winter months, we also ran a schedule that was
divided between the truck mod and TPTCC roadcourses. I'm sure we will do
something like that this off season also.
