That's a first.  I make a stop with about 10 or 11 laps to go, and only changed
2 tires to get out quicker.  Nailed for speeding leaving the pits, and got a
BF.  Spotter says it's a drive-thru, and not to stop in the pits.  Dutifully do
my drive-thru, he says "we gotta clear the black flag".  Ok, maybe I did
something wrong.  Do *another* drive-thru, same thing.  Ok, maybe I *heard* him
wrong, and I need to STOP.  Tried that, no good.  That's 3 attempts for anyone
who's counting.  Next lap, I figure I'll try the drive-thru again.  Didn't
clear, got DQ'd and dropped back to the race menu.  WTF?!?
It appears the game just decided that it wanted to***me today, and there
wasn't a DAMN thing I could do about it.  I'm tellin ya - I really feel
snakebit sometimes... :-(
The only thing I got out of that race was a replay of me dodging Larry when he
got loose coming onto Farm Straight.

Actually, this is a bug at the track and was discussed before the race.  I
think Mitch even posted a warning about it :)

I cant take credit.  I heard/saw someone talking about a track/pit issue of
some sort but I missed it.  On tracks Im unfamiliar with I enter the pits
waaay early and waaay slow so that mustve helped me not get one but whatever
it was it sure wasnt something I was planning on avoiding.

I got the BF *exiting* the pits.  During practice, my pit was so close to pit
out that I didn't have to worry about speeding, I could just nail it.  That
habit cost me...
