F1 2002 need help with repair in pit

Why I can't do repair in the pit if I broke my spoiler?
The AI cars can repair it but not me. I can't tell my team to repair it with
the arrow key on the keyboard. I have only the command for the fuel and
tire. The arrow key doesn't give me the control for the repair: if I press
the up or down key, it skip the repair option. Why?

               Thank for the info           Guill

You mean the rear spoiler?  The front wing will be replaced by
default, but your crew won't replace the rear wing.

Not sure why the AI is able to do this.

They can fix it in real life, but it takes too much time, and usually more
parts of the rear is broken / bent if it happens. I think F1 2002 should
have an option to fix it, with lets say 10-15 minutes penalty, and then
continue
or well.. maybe not :)

I'm fine with not being able to fix it, I just wish the AI had to play
by the same rules. =)

Love the game, just need to do some work on the AI.  I think my 2 year
old daughter could win a grand prix at Monaco with all the sliding and
crashing.

If the team can replace the front wing only, it's really unfair...

I watch the replay and some ai car was broken on the front or rear wing and
the team fix it...

I will put my car on invulnerable but let the mechanical failure on... I
really love this racing game but this kind of flaw makes me mad...

Thanks for the info...                     Guill
