HELP!

In N3 using a Soundblaster Live, the spotter's voice seems to be coming
out of a tunnel.  The other sounds are great, but I can't seem to get
the hang of fixing the settings for the spotter/crewchief.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

This may sound like a dumb question but are you using any
envioromental audio settings? I keep mine set to "no effects" for this
same reason. The reverb on the spotter audio gets real annoying.

I think that's it too.  I just put in a new Live Value Xgamer today, and it
works fine.

Jim....

There's a complete "tutorial" on setting up your sound system for N3........and
using the SB Live sound card.....as well as a new SoundPak for N3 at:

            www.simracingnews.com

This is the High Gear webzine site.....covering sim racing of all types.  Look
for the "Crew Chief's Notebook" article and the SoundPak for N3 is there also.
I write for High Gear......and wrote and produced the article and N3SoundPak.
It's been downloaded by around 8,000 N3 racers in the past five days......and I
have only a few instances where the sound for N3 was substantially improved.
Even if it doesn't work for you....the info on setting up your sound system will
help you improve your sounds in any racing sim program.  I think you'll find
your "spotter sounds" problem fixed too.
