WHAT U MUST DO FOR SOLID GPL MULTIPLAYER

Seems like you poached this from Alison Hines, or did you post it just for
our convenience?

By no means am I an internet GPL connection guru.  These are just a few
things that will hopefully help your experience as they should help
eliminate some of the problems others are having.

a.. You must have the same CORE.INI that the host and all other players
are running <attached is the CORE.INI file I run>
    b.. Turn off Software Compression
    c.. Turn off Error correction
d.. Your FIFO buffer setting should be ONE slot away from the far left
slot <slower setting>
The software compression, error correction and Fifo setting can be found
for most Win95 systems by taking this route <yours may difffer>
1.. Double click on your "My Computer" icon
2.. Double click on your "Dial Up Networking" icon
3.. Right click on the icon of your connection to the internet
    4.. Choose properties
5.. Choose the "Server Type" tab and uncheck "Enable Software
compression"
    6.. Choose "General" tab
    7.. Select "configure" button
    8.. Select "Connection" tab
    9.. Choose "Port Setting" button
10.. Set the "receive buffer" and "transimit buffer" sliders one click
away from far left, hit OK
    11.. Select "advanced" button
12.. Uncheck the "Use error control" box, hit OK 3 times and close the
"dial up networking" and "my computer" windows
Hope this help those that are having problems staying connected.  And
remember, the CORE.INI file is important!!!

Since I "know" Rhawn from TEN, I`d say he did it for our convenience,
noone over there has ever said a bad word about him, AFAIK :-)

Rhawn,
I dont think most GPL players realize this( we all need the same INI file)
every time I connect to a server I ask if all the players have the same ini
and if I can have one sent to me via the host of the game. Well put Rhawn.
