If you do a search in deja news you should find that the
good point for this wheel is that it is a TM product. The
bad points are that it basically doesn't work worth a ***
compared to the ACTLabs and Logitech wheels. It also
used the most CPU cycles to process a FF effect putting
a huge load on your CPU when driving FF games.

There is no such thing as a Thrustmaster Formula Force

There is a Trustmaster Force GT
there is a Logitech Formula Force

which do you mean?

Pro's: Force feedback is great,  floor peddles are good, it has a lot of
handles and buttons

Con's: The drivers suck(?) They made my puter reboot all the time-
especially every time when there was an interferance (the pc coudn't see the
wheel correctly).
The wheel made a weird ticking/cracking  noise when  turned left- in TOCA
(FF on) I could even get it to crack laike a Rattling Gun:-) The plug in and
wiring is not superb.

Overall the wheel didn't gave me an impression of great lasting quality. It
is not _to_ precise- however the Force feedback was delicous.

For the constant rebooting and the cracking noise I returned the wheel, I
was offered a new one- but I wanted to check out the Microsoft FF first. I
staill have that one- though I wish it has the complete FF feel of the TM
(though MS aint't bad either!).

I didn;t want to pay that much money as they ask in the NL for a logitech or
else I might have tried that one )though it hasn't got to strong FF either
and the peddles are to weak).

Try the TM. If oyu have no problems right from the statr and it operates
smoothly then you'll have a nice wheel!
IF not- you can return it withing 8 days everywhere, and maybe even longer
in the better stores...

Veel geluk!

Frans
