The graphics in N2 and ICR2 are great no question.  The Frame
rate running N2 in dos is excellent very very smooth.  BUT running N2
under win95 is a different story.  In dos I can run RENDDMA.EXE and
this works great,  this command will not work in win95.  So in win95 I
run NASREND.EXE,  get great graphics but I can count the frames.   And
the replays are a joke the frame rate is so slow.
        I'm running a P-166 with 64megs and 512 cache on an Asus
mother board so my machine is fast enough.  I also upgraded to the
newest win95 drivers and upgraded the bios.  The sad thing is I took
out my Hercules 128 which worked much better in win95 running N2.
So if anyone knows how I can get N2 to run with Renddma.exe in
win95 that might solve the problem.
I'm assuming that because TEN is a win95 program that racing
on there will most likely have to be out of win95.(someday I guess)
(the worlds best kept secret).  Now if we can do dial-ups to TEN from
dos like Hawaii then no problem.

I'm not sure what it is that is plaguing your computer.  I just
recently installed the Screamin' 3D into my computer and didn't have
many problems (other than operator stupidity).  I can run RENDDMA.BAT
no problems.  I have most graphics turned on and the frame rate is
quite smooth.  For the record: Pentium 75Mhz, 40MB RAM....

It seems that EVERYONE out there with a Screamin' 3D is reporting
different results.  Me? I'm as happy as can be....

Are you using the renddma.pif that came with NASCAR2?  Have you run the
DMATEST program while in Win95?  Does your motherboard have the HX/VX
chipset?  If so and you are running the original release of Win95, you
may need to find the patch so Win95 can recognize your chipset.  This
can be found at <ftp://ftp.tyan.com/other/ideinfup.zip>.  You also might
want to install Intel's PIIX3's busmastering driver for Win95, this has
something to do with PCI latency, etc.  You can find a copy at
<http://www.2themax.com/drivers/piix3drv.exe>.
