N2 and th Sierra 3D Screamer

I just installed the 3D Screamer in my P-166, I have 512 cache
and 64 megs edo of memory.   The graphics are great, the problem is
that the frame rate a Dega is slower then the Hercules 128 I had in
before.  Martinsville is totally porked.  And the frame rate of all
the replays  are so slow I can count the frames.   This  card is a
very big disappointment so far.  I installed the new bios and the new
drivers so thats not the problem.
I hope someone can help with this problem or I guess its back
to the Herc and back to the store with this card.

Are you using the proper startup command?  It is different for the
Rendition version.  I can't remember exactly but I think it's
RENDDMA.BAT or something like that.  Check your N2 documentation, there
should be a loose insert (orange?) in the box to tell you about this.

Good Luck,

Make sure you are running the renddma.bat file in your Nascar2 folder.
If it's still slow, download the DMAtest program from my utilities page
and let mw know your scores.

N2 and th Sierra 3D Screamer

I just bought A-10 Silent Thunder from Sierra, and found out that it is
not the Rendition ready version that is advertised at the Intergraph
site et. al.
I would be interested in purchasing the game from someone who got it
with the Screamin 3d bundle.

Thanks,

Mark E. Mooney
