NHRA sim ...Rick or Ed?

Hello,

First of all I appreciate your quick responses to questions posted on
this group. I haven't seen that anywhere else.

Now, has Papy considered a sim that started like this . . . "I'm Steve
Evans. From Papyrus, this is NHRA Racing"  for the future?  I know
drag racing is getting bigger and bigger every year and a great sim
from you guys would be icing on the cake next to my ICR I and II.
Besides what other kind of race cars hit 300mph regularly?

Thanks again

Does anyone else reading this post agree?

Of course, we can't comment on our future plans, but obvously, we are
very aware of the popularity of NHRA.

I agree, whole heartedly! The setup possibilties, make tuning Nascar and ICR look like
childs play! And then I could justify my weather station for more than just real life! And,
sharpen up the reflexs! And maybe sell off the Dedenbear practice tree! And boy would it be a
whole lot cheaper!
Gee, if there's blown nitro cars I could cheat and make a phone call on how to tune it!
:-)

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This would be wonderful.  Or even a Grudge
Night sim.  Remember Street Rod ][?  What a great game.  Even to this day,
with its outdated graphics, it's still fun.

Personally, I couldn't agree more... I've been thinking about a drag
racing sim, and a World of Outlaws sim would kick ass too... ahhhh,
the possibilities that Papyrus has....

I would LOVE to take a turn in a Funny car against John Force or in a Top

Pro Stock behind the wheel of a Dodge. The possibilities are endless.
Think about it, compared to all these games where you have to go around
long tracks all you really have to change at a drag simm is the scenery
cause its always a 1/4 mile track. I tink it would be very challenging to
have to set u pa car to perform at various tracks because of weather/
humidity/ altitude, stuff like that. The sim would sell rather well if it
was pushed in the drag racing tv shows and magazines.

I would love to see a drag race sim. It would be great to have it
progress in stages to allow challenges throughout, so that you
can really never 'master it' every time. Driver strength options,
or having several classes on the same sim would seem
advantageous. Diffferent view settings would also be a plus, not
just one from say the drivers seat. Maybe an arial.. I agree, If
you build it, they will come!  Just don't create it so that you
need a Pent. 1000 to use!
