I have an ATI 3D Expression +, and have downloaded and installed the
VESA drivers from ATI. I still can't run the rendition version of N2.
Keeps telling me that it can't access my board, missing VESA driver?
Has any one else had the same problem, or know how to fix it?
Any assistance would be appreciated!

You're not missing a VESA driver, you're a Rendition 3D accelerator.
You can't run that version on any other card.
