After having the game for a couplpe of years, I decided to run a season,
now that I have started, I can't get out of the first race. Is there any
way to finish after a major wreck and pushing esc.? i.e accelrated time
or something? Thanks in advance

I believe you just hit "a" during the race and that will put you in
"Accelerated Time". I could be wrong though. It's been awhile since
I played N1.

Press the 'A' key.

You have to be "in" the game for the "A" key to work. If you've
<esc>'d, then "resume". THEN hit "A".
