rec.autos.simulators

I have USA for both Nascar1 & 2 and they work . The only thing is the
green,white & checkered flags still wave at the old Taladega finish line
instead of the new stripe in the apex. I have tried to edit the PACEA &
GFLAG lines in the USA.TXT but it doesnt change the finish line position.
Is it hard coded into the Usa.dat ? I emailed Alex ( the guy who designed
these utilities) 3 times no response. He must be busy making other great
things for these sims. If you can help just post it here in R.A.S --JOHN

Is the USA Track the same as the Talladega track? What are the
differences for N2?

The new stripe is only a graphical enhancement to make the track look
more like something else.  To actually change the start/finish would
require a reording of many files.  Something no-one yet can do.

There is a very nicly improved version of indy for N2 out there that has
bricks on the start finish line.

How do you actually change the graphics on the track it-self. Anyone
know..???
