To compare cpu occupances you not only have to look at which track, but
also which veiw you are using?
I think it was Pieters website? that had a comparison screen showing cpu
occupances on different pc's. And he had a standard way of asking people
to compare set-ups.
I cannot remember it *exactly*, but you basically had to start GP2, set
all the grahics option to "on" (in svga *NOT* vga) and set the frame
rate to a certain rate (25fps?) and then go to a quick race at Monaco (I
think you had to place your car at around 10th on the grid?) you then
pressed the "o" key and noted the cpu occupancy from various views
before the race started. eg:- in-car, behind car, in front of car, and
tv view. It's amazing how different views affect cpu occupancy? as well
as different tracks and different pc set-ups.
So to compare cpu occupances in GP2, you need to state your pc set-up,
the estimated frame rate, the graphics options (sky, mirror details,
etc) which are turned on, the mode that gp2 is set to drive in (quick
race, etc) the track used, and the view used.
