When I try to run gp2 in dos, I get a "cd-rom/mscdex not detected. I've
got a cd-rom and I'm able to play in win95, but I'd rather use dos. I
installed the game using the MS-DOS command in win95. Any suggestions?

Never mind, I figured it out....

Barry Johnson
you can install the "nocdrom" file for GP2 , then it dosen't check for
the CD. Get it at -

>Hi,
>When the computer re-boots into DOS, you need to load your MS-DOS cd-rom

>autoexec.bat and config.sys. These files will contain the commands to

Also if you read the readme file ( .txt ) there is a switch you can use
whne you start gp2 to tell it where to look for the CD. Something like
this :
gp2 cddrive:J
