Momo, split axis and GTR2002

by Zen » Sat, 17 May 2003 10:04:39

Good evening,

I have been experiencing with split axis driving in GTR. However, the only
way I've found to activate split axis, is to launch the GTR02 through the
Logitech Wingman Profiler, which has the unpleasant characterisitc of also
loading all sorts of vibrations and other unrealistic FFs, on top of the FF
from the F12002 engine.

Is there a way to activate split axis capability of the momo, without using
the Profiler?

Many thanks

Sure there is.....

Just go to Control Panel and open up "*** Options".  Pick your Logitech
Wheel and Click on "properties", then "Settings".  Then make sure that "Pedals
reported as Combined" box is NOT checked.

This is how it works with Win98.  Not sure if XP is different.

It does not work that way in my XP configuration, I don't have the settings
tab. The only choice I have is to calibrate. Any other suggestion?

Sounds like the driver isn't installed properly - I'd reinstall the wingman
software - preferably the latest 4.20 (?)

Reformat and reinstall XP.

Mmm, I think you should have suggested running out and buying a new PC,
screen, mouse and wheel, while you're at it ;-)

I took the other suggestion, i.e. getting the newest driver, and that
resolved the issue, thank you very much.
