odd GTR2002 force feedback with Momo

Hi all,

I am curious to find out if i am alone with this problem: force feedback is
inconsistent in GTR2002 (also, of course, in F12002). Generally, in pratice
one, I have no feddback at all, but when I switch to practice 2, FF kicks in
OK.

But sometimes, FF is plain too powerfull, giving me a shaking movement that
tries to mimic, I guess, motor vibration. It also gives me other strong
signals. This feedback is quite far from the subtle indications of slide, or
curb, or dust, that ff generally sends me.

Why the inconsistency?

The FF settings are adjustable, you can dial out the vibrating steering
column but it takes some digging into the .plr file to find the proper text
lines to change.  I'm at a loss why the FF effects are inconsistant tho
between sessions.  I haven't heard of this defect.  Maybe try digging back
through the old F1 2002 posts at Racesim Central and  Simbin.  That might
dig up something...good luck.
