OT : logitec momo force feedback question

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a US logitech momo steering wheel, the leather one.
In Europe they are sold out and it is a 'I must have it' for me.
Now I wonder if one of you guys in the USA who has one can check the voltage
on the power supply because in Europe we have 220Volts and I don't want to
be stuck with something I can't use.
Orrrr, If someone knows one for sale in Europe, please reply me on this
newsgroup because the e-mail address is not valid (due to spamming reasons)
Thx for reading and replying,

Luke
Belgium

PC World in the UK stock them, and although they aren't that common there
doesn't seem to be any shortage as long as you're prepared to do a bit of
searching. Don't know about mainland Europe, but at least the voltage will
be compatible if you get a UK device ;-)

PC World have a helpline you can call (UK no.) 0845 601 4901 and they can
check the stock level in any 'local' store. I don't know how they define
'local' and Belgium definitely won't be of course, but if you can overcome
the bureaucracy you should be able to find one for 80 atm.

there is nothing "special" about power supplies on these types of device.
You can usually get a compatible one fairly easily.

So get it delivered to a UK address & have it forwarded on ;-)

They don't show everything on their site, primarily they are a high-street
store not an on-line retailer.

I was thinking more like using a courier like DHL or someone, rather than a
random stranger from usenet ;-)
Does the company you work for have a UK branch? You might be able to get it
shipped over internally ;-)

I called the PC World helpline today to see if I could find any & I did, but
not many. Mail me privately if you want some more info Luke, but watch out
for the 'typo'.

FYI my momo power brick has the following specs:

MODEL: GAD-SHB-240A8
P/N: 190059-1002
INPUT: 200-240V ~ 0.25A 50/60HZ

Polarity is negative outer positive core.

I also called them, and I got a 'no we don't have them'
Seems like you have said, it depends on the person you have on the other
site of the phone ;)

my junk e-mail address, cause I am unable to send to yours (or to stupid to
find it probably ;)  )

thanks 1000X in advance
