Tolkien-related game by Papyrus [history] ??

I was checking out some of my old game collection when I stumbled upon my
collection of Lord of the Ring-related software.  Boy do I have lots of them
;)

Upon studying the titles was one named "Riders of Rohan" for MS-DOS.
Everything is normal at this point until I see that it was developed by
PAPYRUS and produced by BEAM Software/Konami.  Mmmmm...  So I search for
more information on this title.  So can it be true?  Anybody at Papyrus can
confirm such thing?  Here is the information I can gather from it :

Name : Riders Rohan
Year :  It has to be at the start of the 90's
Officially licensed of course
It was a strategy game
Developed by the Papyrus Design Group
Authors : Phil Redmond and Hank Howie

I tried to load it on the slowest PC I have and it wouldn't, but looking at
the box it seems that it's a action game with some strategy probably.  Any
help would be appreciated, especially if anybody knows about other less
mainstream Papyrus titles.  Road Rash comes in mind ;)

Not a clue.  I had a Lord of the Rings game for my amiga.  Great combo
of screen by screen adventuring with kinda real time army level
combat.(group your little clusters of Riders from Rohan into a large
group to defeat Saruman, then ride like hell to Minas Tirith for the big
showdown){while not forgetting to gather the southern kingdom's
soldiers}
Don't forget to check out www.theonering.net for info on the upcomming
Lord of the Rings Movie.

On Nunnini's site is an interview with Kaemmer, telling a little bit
about the making of Indy 500.

Don't remember too many motor bikes in the Lord of the Rings.  ;)  Riders of
Rohan would involve horses I think, surely not the same Papyrus.

After getting some interesting replies on N3.d, it was indeed Papyrus who
developed the software.  Surprisingly, they did lots of non-racing games or
software during the start of the 90's.

They also did a space-sim called Nomad. Wasn't bad for the time, it's on some
of the abadonware sites. I believe they went into some 'edutainment' as well,
though I can't confirm it...
